Anthony installed our shutters in a very professional manner. He also performed minor repairs on some existing shutters. I was very impressed by Anthony’s attitude/personality. I highly recommend B&D blinds.

Wonderful customer service

I took in a Krisch Duet shade on Sat 27 Jan 2024. Ashton promptly helped me at the Repair Counter. He quickly assessed the problem. Ashton explained what was malfunctioning and why it happened. He then did the repair whilst I was waiting. Ashton then explained how I could go about preventing this from happening. It was amazing. I was able to take the large shade home the same day! I very much appreciated all that he did, and that I didn't need to come back to pick up the shade, as we live 45 minutes from B & D Custom Blinds. Wonderful customer service. and shade work.

Looks great

We have a blind that just fits and looks great in the kitchen. The cord still pulled the blind up, but wouldn't stay. When I brought it in, Ashtin diagnosed the problem with a few questions and fixed the problem in minutes. Now it's back in the kitchen and working fine.

Wonderful Job

I am so pleased with my drapery repair! Jeff did a wonderful job replacing the plastic drapery sliders (located inside the rod) that were broken and brittle from years of AZ sun. Several of the drapery hooks no longer had anything to hook into. Jeff knew his work very well and quickly had the new sliders replaced. The draperies are still beautiful after 25 years and with the repair done they hang perfectly once again. I am so thankful to B&D and especially to Jeff--he knows what he's doing and explains things well--it was a pleasure having him get the job done! Becky in the office was very helpful as well. It was a pleasure working with B&D and I highly recommend them.

They have been great! First repair done on time and very good so I went back with another repair to drop off! They looked and asked if I had a minute. Good morning: Jeff visited our house yesterday afternoon to see if a vertiglider could be repaired. He called, as I requested, to let me know he would arrive in a few minutes. From the moment he stepped into our house, Jeff was polite, efficient, explained the problem and how it could be repaired, the approximate cost and time frame, and was careful at every step to check that it was okay to place tools and/or papers on the furniture. I appreciated his directness, the clarity of his explanations, and am very satisfied with the work he did.

Additionally, I had found the original TDBU for the smaller bedroom; again, Jeff explained all the possibilities, answered my many questions, quoted me the price range, and before he left, made sure I knew that someone from the office would call within a few days with a quote for a new valance and the specific costs of the TDBU repairs; he also mentioned I would have the option to wait on installation of the TDBU and have it coincide with the new valance, to save on costs.

All in all, we are very happy with the excellent customer service, made even better by Jeff. Thank you.

Brought some Hunter Douglas blinds up for repair (originally bought through Costco) and brought them up for repair. We fully expected to leave them and pick them up later. Back for More and Still Excellent Product and Service

Just completed my second install. My first was two patio sliding glass window/doors and a 3-window bay window (2017) and today, I replaced three window blinds. From the moment I first met representative Melissa, to the final install today, I have not had any issues or complaints. Melissa’s guidance and knowledge helped me choose the appropriate blinds and the product was measured and produced as ordered. The installation team (today’s was Vaughn and Caleb) were courteous and professional. They arrived promptly, in protective masks; they worked quickly and before leaving, ensured the work areas were clean and I was satisfied and knew how to contact if any issues or questions. If I had more windows or doors, I would not hesitate to use B & D in the future.

Great Response Time – Great Sales Service – Great Install

We remodeled and our CEO’s office got a new window. We needed to replace and add blinds to the office. Becky made appointment for Tony to come visit and we walked through the project, picked what would work best and got the order done immediately. He was also patient and added some measurements to our file for future work. Slightly more than 3 weeks later, blinds have been installed (old set moved to another office.) Guys were friendly, professional, neat and thorough. Excellent service and my blinds are looking perfect! Great Service!

After having them repaired a couple of times over almost 25 years, we decided our vertical blinds needed a new headrail. Tony came promptly at the time agreed upon, went right to work and replaced the aging, aged headrail. Amazing how much better a new one operates! Tony answered our questions, demonstrated the “correct” way to open and close verticals…and then went out to his truck and brought in a broom to sweep up the minimal “stuff” that had fallen to the floor during the installation (probably some stuff that had been there before — LOL).
 
We have used B&D for all our window covering needs and will certainly call on them again for any future needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FINE COMPANY!!

First Rate Service From Start to Finish!

We stopped by the showroom for another reason, and Ian offered to help. We had a window that I had covered with a sheet for many years, since the heat and light that come in from that window in our back door is very intense.
 
When Ian came to our home to provide a quote for the window blind, he took the time to ask what I needed for that window, and he provided the best advice, and the right product.
 
Vaughn and Ash came today to install the window blind, and they did an excellent job: fast, and efficient, and they explained how to operate the window blind, and provided important information regarding the warranty information.

Excellent!

B&D got my business because they (Ian) responded same day to my inquiry. Delivery was a little slow because of B&D moving office to Oracle Rd but once they arrived the installation of the new blinds went quickly and professionally. I am delighted with the result but a little annoyed that Hunted Douglas use a propietary wireless control system and not todays Bluetooth. The remote works well and I have no need to take it out of the room so I am content. Overall a great B&D experience and the blinds themselves are excellent.

When Brian came to my house and looked at my patio door situation, he knew right away what type of shades to suggest. He spent a lot of time here as I looked at different colors and so on. I’ll be honest. The price estimate was higher than I’d received from two other companies here. However, I could tell that the quality of the Hunter Douglas Shades was superb, so I went for it. And now I’m so happy I did. The shades look beautiful, and the installation team gets a 10 rating in my book–professional and very pleasant. It was a pleasure dealing with these people, and I know that, if there is ever a problem with the shades, they will be here for me.

Over the Top Service

This is our second transaction with B&D. Our first interaction was a repair referral from another local blind company that couldn’t/didn’t want to make the repair. The transaction was flawless and professional and the memory stuck in my mind. Post three years when my wife went blind shopping I reminded her of our first experience and I suggested she give B&D a try. B&D just finished installing blinds for the entire house and the experience was a 10 out of 10. The selection process was much more enjoyable than the wait for someone to help you big box experience and installers were fantastic. If you want the job done correctly with minimal hassle, give B&D a try. They appreciate business.

Wow! Now How Easy Was That.

I called a number of Hunter Douglas specialists in town. Of all those contacted, I was most impressed by Nancy. I sent them the information from the Hunter Douglas label. I was replacing a Hunter Douglas patio door shade that was 18 years old. The sales department was able to match the fabric. I really needed to match the other HD window treatment in the room.
 
B&D’s price was right on track with the other HD specialists in town. I felt most comfortable with B n D from just the telephone interactions. Nancy was kind and polite, soft spoken and knowledgeable, and true to her word. No pressure, no call backs or emails. I decided to surprise them by visiting them unannounced. I met Nancy and Brian. Brian is the the owner and the B in the B n D. We sat and looked at a couple of options and I purchased exactly what I wanted. No pressure and no regrets. Anthony and Van arrived on time. They were friendly yet professional. They waited to be invited in and went right to work. They came prepared and made very few trips in and out. They worked quietly and were done before I knew it. They even asked my preferences on a few things. WOW! it was just that easy. Their instructions were thorough and they were patient with my understanding. They went over HD’s warranty. Tony was polite and professional when he presented my bill since I paid half down with my order. I knew they were very busy with other work that day, yet the did not rush or push to go. I will definitely use their services again for new blinds and especially their service and repair department for my “off brand” blinds. It really was that easy.

A Great Company and Experience

B and D has been great overall. From Amanda, who is so knowledgeable about your products and was able to inform and provide price quotes right on the spot and Ian with additional info when out to the house to take measurements to Tony and Vaughn when coming to install. Everyone was so knowledgeable, friendly and professional both in person and on the phone-things couldn’t have been any smoother. When I need more blinds, this is the only place that I’ll go to.

Drapery Repurposing and Installation

I would like to commend Melissa Alejo for coming to my home to help me figure out a way to use some custom drapes from a previous home and repurpose them for a larger slider window.
 
She suggested adding fabric and the project turned out just great!! Tony Miller and his team came out to install using our own rod and some great brackets they brought and everything looks just great. I recommend them for any window treatment problem.

Quality Window Coverings

B & D Install has touched every window in my home. This most recent one is a great design that Brian came up with while listening to my thoughts about what I wanted. Soft Shades

Tony installed our soft shades yesterday. They look beautiful and work perfectly. He was so helpful, provided cleaning instructions and answered our questions. We had soft shades that were installed by the builder that Tony also kindly adjusted for us. I would use B and D Install again and would recommend without reservation.

Great Experience with B&D

We needed to replace our honeycomb shades on a very large window. Received estimates from a couple of companies…prices were similar. The key factor in our decision to go with B&D was Ian. He is meticulous, honest, and professional…a great representative of the company!
 
We were told a couple of weeks until the install, but they exceeded expectations and had the blinds ready early…even adjusted their schedule to get the job done before we headed out of town. Tony and Von did the install and it was obvious that they knew their stuff. Got the job done in no time…and very accommodating when I asked them to change out the pull cord with a lighter color. All in all, a great experience with B&D and I highly recommend them.

Solved the “Impossible”!

After nearly a year of being bounced around from one dealer to another to try and repair a motorized blind locally, I stumbled on B&D during an Internet search. The local vendors were more interested in selling me a whole new roomful of blinds, instead of just fixing the one that had problems, I guess.
 
From the time I found B&D till the time I reinstalled the completely repaired blind was less than two weeks, and most of that was transit time since I’m in Philadelphia and they are in Tucson! Plus, it wound up costing a fraction of the $470 quote I had gotten from the manufacturer to “repair” the blind, which would have meant to avoid mix-matching styles I would have had to buy 8 blinds.
 
The service I got from Amanda and Nancy throughout was professional and responsive, including follow-up at each step of the process. I could not recommend them any higher!

For Years, We Have Been Very Pleased With All of the Graber Products, B&D Services and Their Excellent Support Team.

We have dealt with B&D Install for over a decade now. This company and their team are very service oriented. We recommend them highly. We love the Graber blinds and we have them throughout our home, Verticals and a soft window shade in our living room and dining room and soft window shades in all of our bedrooms and a dining room window. We love these products and the color selections. Just recently upgraded the verticals to a new color. Our prior ones were 18 years old!. The new railing style is amazing!. Very smooth operation. An extra thank you to Jeff for a superb installation and installation coordination by Becky.

The Windows in My New

The windows in my new dining room were only 2-1/2 inches deep. When I called trying to locate vertical blinds that would fit, B&D Install was the only company to do a little research & call me back. Only Graber made 2-inch slats & they were available in white or ivory. I took my measurements in & they placed the order from Graber for me. The day the blinds came in, they called & scheduled a time after I would return from a trip. Later that day I received a phone call that there had been a cancellation. Did I want to have them installed in about 30 minutes? You bet I did! The installer came out & did a wonderful job, installing spacers where the windows were not quite even. I have had B&D repair many types of blinds & shades for me over the years, but this was the first time I had ordered new ones from them. I will certainly contact them when I need new ones again!

Great Company

When we moved to our new home we discovered one of our honeycomb shades would not work. We called other companies who would not make house calls and one suggested B&D. We couldn’t have been happier with our repair man Jeff, who fixed a very stubborn shade to work perfectly. Since then we’ve used B & D to install a remote controlled honeycomb shade for a large picture window in our bath. Everyone we’ve worked with were professional, price and workmanship excellent.

We received a few estimates for Hunter Douglas duette blinds and were impressed by the estimate and the professionalism of the estimator. He was prompt and impressive in his knowledge of the shades. He showed many options and went to his truck many times to show us other options. The bid was also appreciated. The turn around time was less than expected. The office staff was pleasant and cooperative. The installer was very conscientious and professional. He did a perfect job and even gave us some tips on the job. The custom manufactured Hunter Douglas honeycomb Duette shades arrived and were installed just two weeks after paying our deposit. Jeff carefully installed the products, making sure to thoroughly explain the design and operation of the Ultra-Glide system.

Best Customer Service Experience I Have Ever Had! Outstanding!

I don’t think I have ever written a review for a company before, but I felt I had to due to the outstanding customer service I had with B and D Install. Brian, the owner of B and D Install, was the one who came out to the house and showed me different options and colors for our large picture window in the family room. He was not rushed, but patiently answered all my questions and showed me different types of blinds that I could get. We decided on a Hunter Douglas Silhouette motorized blind with a remote control that has a blackout shade behind it that could be operated in sync or separate from the more decorative blind. It was important to me to be able to look out of the window and have the tree and the blue sky coming through while still having it so the sun was not blazing in. He talked me through it so I could understand how the blind would work and what it could and could not do. He had a positive demeanor and it was a pleasant interaction.
 
Tony was the installer that came in. He was top notch. “I do it like how I would like to have it done in my own home” was his words as he explained why he went out of his way and did a much more time consuming process of “hiding” the cord within the wall next to the window frame and then caulking it. Not only did he expertly install the motorized blind and patiently showed me how to operate it, and set it up to for my “favorite” setting to be just where I wanted it, but he also put up a Bali blind that B and D had just repaired for me and found a colored end cap that would work better than the white one originally put on it as the manufacturer is not making the exact color as was on the blind originally. That very morning I had been raising another Bali blind in the living room and as I was pulling up the cord it broke. Tony took care of that one too! He not only found a better cord, but he also moved the cord holder up on the wall and explained that it was previously put in (not by them) so it was too taut and that is what likely contributed to it breaking earlier that day. All in all, one word sums it up: “outstanding!”

Excellent Experience

I had been shopping for window blinds for an apartment rental we have, and decided to stop into the store on Oracle Rd. I was very pleased to find just what I wanted at a better price than other quotes I had obtained. I was able to place the order and get a measurement all in the same day. The blinds arrived on time and installation was scheduled promptly. The installers arrived on time and were able to complete the job efficiently. Exceptional Blinds with Exceptional Service

The B&D installers just left after installing our new Hunter-Douglas blinds and they did a super job. They arrived on time, quickly removed the old blinds, and efficiently installed the new blinds.All the blinds fit perfectly and work perfectly. They demonstrated the most efficient use of the blinds and cleaned up.
 
We had H-D blinds in our prior home but the current designs are far superior. I not only recommend H-D blinds but also recommend B&D Install as the place to shop (home visit) and then install the blinds.

We purchased a home 2 months ago that had very nice Hunter Douglas blinds throughout. The Master Bedroom had a Duette with Vertiglide that was off track and missing multiple little hangers on the top. It was very difficult to open or close, and we were pretty sure we would need to replace the blind. We contacted Hunter Douglas and they referred us to B&D Install. I contacted B&D install and scheduled an appointment, and this past Friday Jeff came out. Wow! Very knowledgeable and he does awesome work. Brian wrote up my original order, after we went through his sample books so I could see and feel the exact fabric/finish of the products. He is a super nice guy and very knowledgeable about the products. Tony and Vaughn installed vertical blinds at our slider, cellular shades on two large windows, and a cellular window arch all in under two hours. They are courteous and professional. Very Pleased

I’ve used B&D Install for blind repairs in the past, and because I had a great experience with that, decided to use this company when purchasing new blinds for large picture windows. B&D sent a representative to my house to help me select the product that was optimal for my living room. I liked the one-stop shopping experience. Jeff installed my blinds and did a fantastic job! He took many things into consideration to determine bracket placement to adjust for things that I wouldn’t have thought about, such as low spots and high spots in carpeting that would impact the blinds if not properly placed. He stayed until all questions were answered, and he was sure that everything was back in its previous location. I’m impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of the service and would use B&D again for future blind or drapery needs.

Tony & Vaughn did a great job measuring and then installing. Amanda was effective, efficient and knowledgeable with the ordering so we got to pick what was right for us. Totally love the Silhouette shades with PowerView on our east facing kitchen wall … they close at night, rotate to horizontal when the suns high enough for the 4″ vanes to capture the light, then open all the way before noon. They look great and work great.

WOW! I needed help with installing two sets of blinds but needed the hardware to hang them. I went to B and D Blinds and the staff was sooooo nice and helpful. I had a horrible experience with another blind store so was a fearful but after going to B and D Blinds, in less than 5 minutes they provided the hardware I needed, amd explained how to install the brackets. I am a wannabe handy lady so they had three different visits from me to explain the steps needed. So helpful and patient. I put the first set of blinds up in less than 30 minutes – and I am so proud! Flawless

I now have every window and door with a B and D custom blind. My first installation was in 2019, another in 2020 and now in 2021. From the initial visit from their design consultant to final installation, the process has been consistently professional, with timely deliveries, accuracies and flawless installation. The product, whether for patio doors, kitchen door or windows, has done well with heavy use over time. If I had more windows or doors, I would definitely go to B & D again.
